I've finally gotten a copy of the 12 lotus movie sountrack and dvd on friday at the 12 Lotus Bloom Party. Roy won best director at the Singapore International Film Festival 2009 and he called for a celebration/gathering and it was good to catch up with all the cast/crew again after one year (:

I missed Nicole's wedding last year due to work and I totally regretted it. So this year, I'm glad I attended 'The wedding of the year', the union weaved in minops' dreams which we've been talking about it since a year plus ago! And I'm honoured to be one of the '姐妹' to witness the whole joyous day (from 7:30am - midnight). It's an irony I felt that way cos I am usually very skeptical towards marriage so I guessed that day worked for me. LOL.

Here's a quick post before I lie dead in the comfort of my bed.These 2 days were good. Had CG yesterday after work before I was kidnapped to Marina Boulevard for a post birthday surprise. Thank you 1A for the lovely supper picnic! (:
This evening was spent at Causal Poet with Roy. Finally I visited the place for myself after talking about it for so long! It was a good chill out session. And I'm still amused that peeps in class think that there's something going on between us. LOL. The truth is I have many good guy friends so there's no exceptions in this case. Haha. The same goes for Roy. We're just fortunate to have many dear platonic friendships (:
Anyway lunch time was good too (: I managed to meet Junhao, followed by Kenneth yesterday near my workplace (still a noob/3rd day of work/can get lost) Today, I travelled down to Katong for my love, jiayi and the good chicken rice. I took the liberty of extending my lunch hours (while I'm still more free /while waiting for more scripts to come in) to spend time with my friends. Hoho. More lunch meetings please! I hope I've time to drop by Outram next week to meet Trixie too. Hehe.
Oh! My Sem 2 results was out today! I improved except 3D which totally pulled down my overall GPA. Argh. Really don't like 3D but it's not like I can do anything about it so I'm just glad IT'S OVER! So thank you love, shijie and steven for helping me during the last 3D chionging days.
I'm thankful for many things in my life. THANK YOU! (:

Anyway she has found 2 ADM friends who are working nearby and can lunch with her (: On a side note, it was good to see all the familiar faces again after her last freelance with Sitting In Pictures last year. The office is much bigger now and kinda out of the way at Lavender. It's next to Aloysius' house. Haha.
Anyway last weekend (shuz&roy's wedding on sat & hiking+swimming on sun) made up for the horrible weekdays where Philo fell terribly sick and even vomited on her birthday. So there was no celebration and cake for her 22nd. Nonetheless, thank you all who called/sent messages/gave lovely gifts or at least showed you remember.

Posted by Philothea` @ Friday, May 08, 2009 | OMG. I'm such a workaholic! My holidays is packed with work and more work. While I was frantically searching for a non-media job this week b'cos I thought I should take a break from the industry, I gave up eventually and agreed to work as a production manager for an upcoming OKTO 14ep drama series. So, yes, there goes my holidays! On top of that, I still have to give tuition. (not just one, but a few) I seriously if I can do it...my timetable will look something like this starting 20th May:
Weekdays: 10.30am-7pm production work / 8-9:30pm tuition
Saturdays: church / rest / play or production shoot
Sundays: tuition or production shoot
Erm, I think I've no time to celebrate my birthday. I don't know how to answer what kinda gifts I want cos all the things I really wish to have are expensive? (e.g. mini hd camera, lumix camera, iphone, ipod, chair, revamp my room etc.) hurhur. I'm super practical, I don't mind receiving cash, it can add up to my savings and eventually I'd be able to buy what I want. Hoho. Ah! I think the only reasonable priced stuff that I need would probably be a laptop case? A pair of black shoes (black is very matchy with everything)? And a very nice cream dress and matching shoes for shuz' wedding! I DON'T HAVE TIME TO SHOP :(
I guess I don't mind receiving more books/design books but I don't know when I'll have the time to read them?
I wouldn't mind getting nice clothes/accessories cos I have given up shopping in Singapore. Haha.
I'd really like to go causal poet, watch 'songs of the sea' at sentosa, sit by the beach, read a book at some nice cafe, watch musicals or visit nice places which I haven't been before but it seems like I confirm any free day yet.
I still need to go for a haircut, visit an optician and a dentist. (I kept procrastinating!)
And I'm so sorry that I kept delaying and somehow always fail to make time to catch up with everyone!
You could meet me during my lunch break or have dinner on days I don't have tuition or sneak out in the middle of the night?
I've no life, I know. But I just wanna save more money this holidays for the good of my future.
Anyway night cycling last thursday 9pm to friday 8am was fun though it was tiring!
The starting point
We were finally ready to set off
and after happily riding for an hour? We reached:
Our 1st stop! (somewhere near kembagan mrt)
and had a nice supper
we continued cycling to bedok and dropped by gwen's place to leave our bags
from bedok to changi, oh man, it was such a long and strenuous journey!
cos one of the bikes broke down half way and we had to return back to gwen's place
to borrow her dad's and ayye, we took forever to reach our next food stop.
when we finally did, the well known nasi lemak store was already closed and
we had to settle for the less tasty one which was the only store that was still opened.

we were super duper exhausted but we had to carry on,
and just pedal on and try to ignore all that muscle aches.
omg! we finally made our way back to east coast!
and it was already almost 7am by then!
time to zzz!
